Madagascar's Rivers/Lakes

Madagascar has 5 major rivers. The 5 major rivers are: Mangoro, Maningory, Mananara, Ivondro and Mananjary. These rivers drain the flood plains making them fertile for agriculture. Mangoro and Mananara are the major rivers on the west coast of Madagascar. They flow from the central highlands to the east coast then into the Indian Ocean.

The largest/biggest lake in Madagascar is Lake Alaotra. The other lakes are : Lake Kinkony, Lake Tritiva, Lake Ihotry and also Lake Tsimanampetsota. There are more but just listed some of the lakes. The Alaotra lake is used for fishing .

Conclusion

Final Thoughts :Madagascar is a interesting country to research. I learned a few things from this like : population, exporting, climate, different landforms, different rivers/lakes and the agriculture of Madagascar. There were no information on disaster though. Even if there is no information on disasters it was cool reseaching Madagascar.
